Pet Parade

The Burlingame Pet Parade was started in 2004 by a group of Burlingame citizens who wanted to bring the community together with a hometown event. The most recent Pet Parade was sponsored by the Broadway Merchants association, the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA ,Pet Food Express, the Alan Canas team of realtors and the Daily Journal.

Entertainment at the 9th Annual Burlingame Broadway Pet Parade was provided by:

The Los Trancos Woods Community Marching Band, which played in the parade and after the parade
The San Mateo Elks Concert Band, which played before and after the parade.
Parade commentary was provided by Stephen Hamilton and two 6th graders, twins Clara & Ally Kennedy
The Peninsula Humane Society had its mobile spay-neuter van and adoption van on display
This year as every year no commercial or political entries were permitted.

The Peninsula Humane Society played a major role in all the parades, with more than 50 volunteers participating.
