Picnic Permit Reservations and Information
Burlingame loves to picnic! Our Parks & Recreation Department have several options for picnic rentals
How to request a Picnic Permit:
- Burlingame residents can reserve up to a year in advance. Non-residents can only reserve 90 days in advance.
- Read the information below to help you determine which Picnic Space best suits your needs.
- Make sure to read all the Rules & Regulations for Picnic Rentals before submitting your request.
- Submit a request for a particular picnic area and date for staff review.
- Residents will be required to to provide valid proof of residency.
- If approved, renter will receive an email confirmation along with steps to complete payment and finalize picnic Permit.

All online Picnic Permit applications are subject to staff approval prior to collecting payment. Below is a list of our reserved areas. All other picnic areas throughout Burlingame parks are open for drop-in use only.

Village Park Picnic Area
BBQ’s with grills 14’’ max. diameter are allowed on city provided tables, 23’’ max diameter allowed on level areas with at least 4’ of paved area on all sides, excess of 23’’ ONLY allowed with special permit and must be supervised at all times. Propane tanks may not be discarded in City garbage cans or recycling containers. BBQ’s must have a cover to suppress flames.
NO JUMP HOUSES ALLOWED.
