When are the Community Center hours?
The Community Center hours are:

Monday-Thursday 8am-9pm
Friday-Sunday 8am-5pm
Q: I am looking to reserve a tennis court or athletic field. What is the process and is there online access?

Q: How do I get my new team into one of your leagues?

Q: I lost something in the park, where might I find it?

A: Most items found in the parks are brought to the Community Center at 850 Burlingame Avenue.  Please call to inquire about your item: 650.558.7300
Q: How do I register for Village Park Preschool?

A:  Registration for the Village Park Preschool will be based on a lottery system for the following school year. The lottery will take place in February at the Recreation Center. Information regarding the lottery is available in the Winter Brochure. You must be a Burlingame Resident to participate in the lottery.
Q: Who runs the Burlingame Aquatic Center?

A: The Burlingame Aquatic Center is now run by the Burlingame Aquatic Club. For more information go to www.burlingameaquatics.com or call 650-558-2881.
Q: If I play on a team and want to know if my game is cancelled due to bad weather, who do I contact?

Q: What is the age requirement to play on an adult league team?
A:  You must be at least 18 years old to play in adult sports leagues.
Q: If I'm an individual player looking to play on a team what do I do?
A: We have a Free Agent roster that we can place your information on. We provide it to league managers looking for players. Call the Parks & Recreation office at 650-558-7300

Refund / Household Credit Policy

Registration Fee – There is a $12.00 non-refundable registration fee included in every class fee.

Refunds
A refund will be only given if a class or activity is cancelled by the Recreation Division.  Refunds take two weeks to process and will be mailed to you.  If a student withdraws from a class no later than one week prior to the class beginning he/she may receive a household credit as listed below.  No refunds or credit adjustments will be issued after the class begins. 

Household Credit Adjustments
To receive a credit for a class fee please note the following procedures:

  • The Community Center office must be notified no later than one week prior to the first class that the student wishes a household Credit.  No refunds or credit adjustments will be issued after the class begins.
  • Credits are processed Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm by calling 650.558.7300. 
  • The $12.00 registration fee and an $8.00 processing fee will be deducted per activity. 
  • Household credits may be applied to any future Department activities.  Household credits take one business day to process and will be in your household profile in our registration system. 

Village Park Preschool has a different credit and refund policy – please refer to the policy listed in the Preschool Handbook.
