    During the regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council on January 19, 2010, the City Council appointed a Citizens Oversight Committee for the storm drain improvement program, which will upgrade the storm drain system to help prevent flooding that can damage property and pollute our waterways.

    The Storm Drainage Citizen's Oversight Committee consists of three members. The Committee, which is tasked with ensuring that storm drain fees (approved by Burlingame residents in May 2009) are used only for the City’s storm drain program, held its first, semi-annual meeting on February 25, 2010.
