Facilities & Maintenance

The Facilities Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining City owned buildings such as City Hall, Parks & Recreation building, Public Works Corporation Yard, and City Library.

The Electrical Maintenance Division has the following responsibilities:

  • Maintains the streetlight system only within certain parts of the city.
    • Lights on wooden poles are maintained by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and reports of problems should be directed to 1-800-743-5000 or www.pge.com/streetlights.
    • Lights on metal poles are the responsibility of the City. Call 558-7670 to report a problem. Weekly checks are performed by the City Electrical Division and repairs are made as quickly as possible.
  • The Electrical Division also maintains various water and waste water pumping stations.
