Special Needs Registry


If someone in your home has special needs, you can let the Burlingame Police Department know so that emergency personnel can respond appropriately.

The Burlingame Police Department Special Needs Registry is a tool that allows the police department to better serve our community members with special needs. It will allow officers quick access to information that will enable them to better assist that person during any contact, if they become lost, found, or when they need assistance, particularly at their residence.

Family members and care providers are encouraged to enroll Burlingame residents of any age with any medical, mental health condition, or disability including, but not limited to Dementia, Autism, Epilepsy, or ambulatory restrictions.

You can attach documents and photos to provide additional details, including the location of a hidden key in order to minimize the need for emergency personnel to force entry into your residence.
