Request Reports

Burlingame Police Department can only release reports taken by our department. For current fees, refer to the Burlingame Master Fee Schedule (we accept cash, check, Visa or MasterCard credit cards) and a photo identification is required. Copies can be obtained at the Burlingame Police Department located at 1111 Trousdale Drive, Burlingame, CA 94010. You may also mail a request for a copy of a report by enclosing  a check with the correct fee for the report and a clear copy of your photo identification along with  a self-addressed stamped envelope.  All checks should be made payable to the “City of Burlingame”. 

Accident Reports: 
The Burlingame Police Department has partnered with Lexis Nexis to provide community members with the ability to obtain their traffic accident police reports online. The  online convenience fee for this service is $5.00 per report. Additionally, there is $0.25 per page fee. If you are an involved party or insurance company representing the involved party, please use the link below to request a copy of your report.

Vehicle Accident Reports (Property Damage Only)

Crime and Incident Reports: 
To obtain a copy of a report you must be listed on the report. You will also be required to upload a copy of your photo identification.  An insurance company should reference their insured party name, date, and location of the incident. An attorney requesting a report needs to upload an authorization signed by the involved party. The online convenience fee for this service is $5.00 per report. Additionally, there is $0.25 per page fee. If a crime report is an active investigation it may not be available until the investigation and/or prosecution is complete. Arrest Reports: 
Arrest reports are not immediately available as they are forwarded directly to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution. However, you can request a copy from the District Attorney’s office at (650) 877-5454. For information on an arrest report that has been adjudicated, follow the procedures listed above to contact Burlingame Police Department. If you need information on the disposition of a case that has been prosecuted contact the District Attorney.
