Crime Prevention & Safety Tips

The Police Department is responsible for protecting the City’s residents, property owners, and businesses by patrolling roughly five square miles using cars, bicycle, motorcycles and foot patrols. The Department fosters a problem-solving, community policing philosophy and works collaboratively with the City Council, the City Manager’s Office, other City departments and the community to address problems of crime and property damage. The Police Department encourages all citizens to review these crime prevention and safety tips and to immediately report any suspicious activity by calling 9-1-1.
