Conflict Resolution
PCRC is a communication and dispute resolution organization focusing on empowering youth, strengthening families, and engaging communities through training, facilitation and mediation. Mediation is a voluntary, affordable and confidential alternative to litigation in which disputants design their own agreements with the help of trained mediators. Types of disputes involve neighbor/neighbor, landlord/tenant, consumer/business, workplace, family, Home Owner Association and complex/multi-party. Facilitation involves planning and running meetings, promoting participation, supporting decision making and dialogue, and helping groups work productively together. Training topics include conflict management, effective communication, and facilitation leadership.
