    Zoning - Title 25 of the Burlingame Municipal Code

    The new Zoning Ordinance (Title 25) was adopted by the City Council on December 6, 2021 and became effective on January 5, 2022.  The new Zoning Ordinance incorporated Title 21 (Historic Preservation) and Title 22 (Signs) of the Burlingame Municipal Code into the Zoning Code, since these are areas covered more appropriately in the Zoning Code. 

    This Zoning Ordinance is intended to regulate the use and development of land within the City consistent with the City of Burlingame General Plan. It is also the intent of this Zoning Ordinance to protect and promote the public health, safety, comfort, convenience, and general welfare of the Burlingame community; and to provide the physical, environmental, economic, and social advantages that result from the orderly planned use of land resources.  Please use the following links to review Burlingame's Municipal Code and Title 25 Zoning:
