Rebate available for Ultra High Efficiency Washing Machine

1. Rebates are applied on qualified single-loaded New High Efficiency Washing Machine recently purchased and installed.
2. The Program is open to City of Burlingame single family and multifamily residential customers only.
3. The program offers ONE $75.00 rebate for Ultra High Efficiency Washing Machine per residential dwelling unit. Rebates are subject to available funds.
4. To obtain a High Efficiency Washing Machine rebate, the customer shall present an original (copy ok) unaltered and dated sales receipt for City of Burlingame approval as a proof of purchase. The make and model number of the Washing Machine must be identified on the receipt. The customer shall provide proof that the washer purchased meets the criteria for High-Efficiency Washing Machine established by Consortium for Energy Efficiency specifications for resource efficiency. The High Efficiency Washing Machine shall save up to 20 gallons of water per load.
5. The customer shall complete the City’s application for the rebate program available at the City’s water office in the City Hall at 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
6. The customer must consent to a post-installation verification inspection by the City.
7. The customer must agree to provide the City Water Department with the information for the evaluation of the rebate program.

Rebate available for Ultra Low Flush Toilet and High Efficiency Toilet

1. Rebates are applied on qualified Ultra Low Flush Toilets or High Efficiency toilets recently purchased and installed.
2. The Program is open to City of Burlingame single family and multifamily residential customers only.
3. The program offers ONE $50.00 rebate for Ultra Low Flush Toilets OR High Efficency Toilets per residential dwelling unit. Rebates are subject to available funds.
4. Rebates are in the form of credit, which will show on the customer’s water bill.
5. To obtain a toilet rebate, the customer shall present an original (copy ok) unaltered and dated sales receipt for City of Burlingame approval as a proof of purchase. The make and model number of the toilet must be identified on the receipt. The customer shall provide proof that the toilet purchased meets the criteria for Ultra Low Flush Toilet established by California Urban Water Conservation Council of 1.6 Gallons per flush or (H.E.T) High Efficiency Toilet of 1.0 Gallons per flush.
6. The customer shall complete the City’s application for the rebate program available at the City’s water office in the City Hall at 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
7. The customer must consent to a post-installation verification inspection by the City.
8. The customer must agree to provide the City Water Department with pertinent information for evaluating the rebate program.
9. New building construction, additions and remodeling of homes, (except for single bathroom) DO NOT qualify for the rebate program.
10. Replacement of an existing Ultra Low Flush Toilet with a new Ultra Low Flush Toilet does not qualify for the rebate program, however replacement with an H.E.T (High Efficiency Toilet) does qualify does qualify.
