Sustainable Burlingame

Burlingame is working to be a more sustainable community and continuously striving to reduce our carbon emissions. The City has adopted numerous programs to encourage "green" practices by residents, businesses and in our own city operations. And, in 2007, the City formed a Green Ribbon Task Force comprised of residents, council members and Planning Commissioners that crafted the City's Climate Action Plan, which was adopted in 2009.
