Residents of the City of Burlingame are encouraged to apply to serve on city boards and commissions as vacancies occur. Currently, the City of Burlingame is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the commission(s) listed below. Incumbent commissioners are eligible to reapply for additional terms.
Before interviewing, applicants are required to attend a regular meeting of the commission for which they are applying, (except for Civil Service Commission). All meetings are open to the public. Click here for meeting dates and times or click here to view Commission Roster.
Commission applicants must meet the following requirement:
- At the time of their application for the commission and throughout their term as commissioner, applicants shall be registered, qualified electors of the City of Burlingame. (The Library Board, which is set by state law requirements, does not have a residency or registration provision.)
