The Burlingame Police Department contracts with an outside vendor to process parking tickets. There are three ways to pay, have your citation number ready and:

Pay online: www.pticket.com/burlingame ($3 service charge)

Pay by phone: 1-800-352-7567 ($3 service charge)

Pay by mail:  Send a check or money order payable to The City of Burlingame
Write the citation number on your check or money order and mail to:

The police department normally uploads parking ticket data within 24 hours. On rare occasions, it may take as many as 7 business days for the vendor to record your parking ticket.

If the Proof of Correction is Required box is checked you must provide proof of correction to a Police Officer or authorized representative of the Department of Motor Vehicles, the fine amount will be reduced to $10.00.  Both the proof of correction and $10.00 must be submitted within 21 days of the issuance date.  A copy of the registration is acceptable for CVC4000A only.

If a penalty is not indicated on the citation, you will receive a written notice of the amount.  You may contest the citation by requesting an initial review by writing, telephoning or appearing in person.  You must provide your reasons for requesting the initial review and include any documentation relating to your appeal.  You will be notified by mail of the results of the review.  You will also be provided with information on how to request an administrative hearing if you are not satisfied with the results of the initial review.
