The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining city-owned land, utilities and infrastructure as well as enforcing of certain municipal code requirements. Under the Director of Public Works, the major divisions or departments are:

Engineering  Facilities and Maintenance Streets and Sewer Water Wastewater Treatment Plant Public Works coordinates with other city departments and with various City Commissions in serving the citizens on a daily basis as well as planning for the City's future.
